
The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania (BIAT) is the peak body for people living with or affected by brain injury in Tasmania.
The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania is a non-government, state-wide, not-for-profit organisation that has a range of members. BIAT receives re-current funding from the Motor Accident Insurance Board's Injury and Prevention Foundation Charities Committee, and the Department of Health and Human Services (Disability Services).
The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania is a member of the national body, Brain Injury Australia, which is a peak organisation working nationally to address systemic issues for people with ABI at a federal level.
We are based in Hobart however we aim to work in, and be accessible, to all areas of Tasmania.
